Scope of the Course

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a career-oriented programme for science students. Graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industry, including drugs and medicines, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical engineering, and allied areas. Students can work in various departments of pharmaceutical companies such as production, quality control, packaging, and marketing. Graduates interested in higher education may pursue a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) after completion of B.Pharm.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

• To convert natural human potential into proactive pharmacy professionals and contribute innovative thinking to higher education, research, and development in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• To provide students with basic and advanced concepts across various fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences required by pharmaceutical industries, community, and healthcare services.

Programme Outcomes

• Acquire knowledge and understanding of biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, behavioral, social, administrative pharmacy sciences, and manufacturing practices.
